About Melissa Jean

Based in the Lake of the Woods Region of Northwestern Ontario, Melissa paints on location throughout the area, & in her Keewatin, Ontario studio. When not painting, she explores Lake of the Woods & surrounding lakes by boat, paddleboard, or snowmobile, and the region’s forests on foot or by quad. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family in the community that she calls home, as well as supporting local charities in the area.
